Family History
The Robertson family story behind Duck Commander.
It would be hard to find more humble beginnings than you'll see in the early days of The Duck Commander. From teaching his little sons how to dip homemade duck calls into a 5-gallon bucket of polyurethane to getting shown the door in a sporting goods store in Stuttgart, Arkansas — the capital of duck hunting — Phil Robertson's story is an American story. It's a story of one family, blessed with friends and fellow believers who took the initiative to trust their patriarch's instincts about what people want in a duck call.
The Robertson family members star in the popular A&E series, "Duck Dynasty", and they sell their duck calls worldwide. Still based in West Monroe, Louisiana, the family also travels the world, telling their story of being superbly blessed by the Almighty in their quest to share their enjoyment of an outdoor life.
Meet The Duckmen
Phil Robertson
Founder
Founder of Duck Commander, Phil built the company in West Monroe, Louisiana on a hand-tuned duck call and the conviction that the best gear is built by the people who use it most. The original Duckman.
Si Robertson
Uncle Si
Vietnam veteran, fan favorite from Duck Dynasty, and one of the most recognizable faces in waterfowl. If you've heard a Duck Commander call, you've probably heard Uncle Si tell a story right next to it.

Jase Robertson
Master Call Tuner
Phil's son and Duck Commander's master call tuner. Jase has been in the Duck Commander shop since he was old enough to hold a reed in his hand — every Pro Series call passes by his ear.

Willie Robertson
CEO
CEO of Duck Commander and Buck Commander. Star and executive producer of A&E's Duck Dynasty. Best-selling author and the man steering the Commander family of brands into its next chapter.
John Godwin
Duckman
Long-time Duck Commander employee turned Duck Dynasty regular. John has spent more time in a duck blind with the Robertsons than just about anybody outside the family.
Justin Martin
Duckman / Director
Hunting writer, on-camera Duckman, and the eye behind much of Duck Commander's video work. Splits his year between the marsh and the editing bay.
Jay Stone
Duckman / Operations
A regular face on Duckmen DVDs and a fixture inside the Duck Commander shop. Jay knows the calls, the marshes, and the people behind both.

Jacob Mayo
Duckman
Jacob Mayo is an entrepreneur and owner of General Vintage. A passionate outdoorsman, he spends his free time duck hunting, turkey hunting, and fishing. He is married to Bella Robertson Mayo and is committed to both family and business.

Built in West Monroe
The call that started it all.
Duck Commander started in the backwoods of Louisiana with one goal: build a duck call that sounds right on the water. Today, the same mentality drives everything we make — field-tested by hunters, tuned by ear, and built to last.
