Strut Commander
Jordan started with the Buck Commander production team in 2006 and turned a springtime passion for turkey hunting into Strut Commander — building calls made in the U.S.A. by hunters, for hunters.
Brandon James
Strut Commander
Born and raised in Atmore, Alabama, Brandon James developed a passion for hunting and the outdoors at a young age. Today, he owns New South Plantation Products, serves his community, and spends every season chasing what he loves most. Fall finds Brandon hunting whitetails across the Midwest before returning home to Alabama, but spring is where he feels most at home—traveling the country in pursuit of gobblers. From Easterns to Merriam’s, Osceola’s, and Rios, Brandon values the memories, brotherhood, and traditions built through turkey hunting. Above all, his proudest role is being a father to his daughter, Grayson.
Parker Amos
Strut Commander
Parker was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama, and attended Auburn University before relocating to Louisiana in the spring of 2022 to work for Buck Commander. He was introduced to hunting and fishing by his grandfather at a young age, which sparked a passion for the outdoors. Parker manages the business operations of Buck Commander while the Buckmen attend to their day jobs. He considers himself fortunate to work for a fantastic organization that aligns with his interests. As a follower of Jesus, he appreciates that the group values faith above all else. Parker resides in West Monroe, Louisiana, with his wife, Freddie.
Jacob Mayo
Strut Commander
Jacob Mayo is an entrepreneur and owner of General Vintage. A passionate outdoorsman, he spends his free time duck hunting, turkey hunting, and fishing. He is married to Bella Robertson Mayo and is committed to both family and business.
Michael McVay
Strut Commander
Michael McVay was born and raised in West Monroe, Louisiana, where a love for the outdoors took root at an early age. His passion for hunting, wildlife, and conservation led to a seven-year career dedicated to waterfowl conservation. In 2025, Michael joined Duck Commander as General Manager of Operations, bringing together his professional experience in conservation with a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and hunting heritage. He is thankful to serve at a company where faith in Jesus Christ is central to its mission and values while pursuing a career in the hunting industry he has loved since childhood. Michael and his wife, Caroline, are proud parents of two young boys and enjoy spending time together outdoors, creating memories and passing on a love for God’s creation to the next generation.

Strut Commander started as a side passion of the Buck Commander production crew between seasons. With guidance from Willie Robertson and a whole lot of time in the spring woods, it became its own brand — turkey calls built to be used by rookies, weekend warriors, and seasoned pros alike.
We make mouth calls, box calls, pot calls, and locator calls that earn their spot by working on real birds first.
